The only ingredient is garlic — no additives or preservatives — so the natural flavour of the garlic is fully retained. It is extremely convenient for European households, eliminating the need to peel and mince fresh garlic every time. The large 450g pack can be used over a long period across a wide variety of dishes including pasta, stir-fries, soups, and marinades.
Yes, Pungnyeon Minced Garlic 450g is 100% vegan and vegetarian. As the only ingredient is garlic, it contains absolutely no animal-derived ingredients. It also holds Halal certification, making it suitable for those following a Halal diet. The product is gluten-free as well, making it appropriate for those who need to avoid gluten from wheat, barley, rye, and similar grains.
The product must be stored frozen at -18°C or below at all times. After opening, use a clean spoon to scoop out only the amount you need, then return the rest to the freezer immediately. For cooked dishes such as stir-fries and soups, you can add the garlic directly to the pan or pot straight from frozen — no thawing required. If you are using it in unheated applications such as dressings or sauces, allow it to thaw naturally in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Do not refreeze once thawed.
