Pepero is a stick-shaped snack made by Korea's Lotte — a thin, crispy biscuit stick coated in chocolate. It is similar in form to the Italian snack Pocky, familiar to many in Europe, but Lotte's own recipe gives it a distinctly rich cocoa aroma and sweet chocolate flavour. This Choco Cookie Pepero has cocoa worked into the biscuit dough itself, so you get chocolate flavour from both the coating and the stick inside. It's great on its own as a snack, or paired with coffee or milk.

This product contains the following EU-listed allergens: gluten (wheat flour, malt extract), soy (soy lecithin E322), milk (butter, condensed milk, whole milk powder), peanuts, tree nuts (almonds), and sulphites (E224, contained within the enzyme preparation). As both peanuts and almonds (tree nuts) are present, individuals with nut allergies should avoid this product. Additionally, depending on the production batch, traces of egg may be present — those with egg allergies are advised to check the physical packaging label before purchase. This product is not suitable for a gluten-free diet.

This product is not suitable for a vegan diet, as it contains animal-derived dairy ingredients including butter, condensed milk, and whole milk powder. Suitability for vegetarians has not been officially confirmed. This product also does not carry halal certification. Pepero means more than just a snack in Korea. Every year on November 11th, Koreans celebrate "Pepero Day" — the date 11/11 resembles four Pepero sticks standing side by side, which is how the tradition began. On this day, people give Pepero to friends, partners, family, and colleagues as a gesture of affection. It can be understood in a similar context to the European tradition of gifting chocolates on Valentine's Day. Pepero is also popular as a gift item and is released in a wide variety of special packaging formats throughout the year.

Before opening, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. As the sticks are chocolate-coated, exposure to high temperatures (above 25°C) may cause the chocolate to melt or bloom (a white discolouration on the surface). After opening, keep in an airtight container or resealable bag away from moisture, and ideally consume within 1–2 days.
