Oyster sauce contains approximately 11.5g of salt per 100g, making it a high-sodium condiment. As a general guide, 1–2 tablespoons (15–30ml) is sufficient for 1–2 servings. When using this sauce, we strongly recommend reducing or omitting any additional salt in the dish. Before opening, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight at room temperature. After opening, seal the lid tightly and refrigerate; we recommend using the product within a few months of opening. Always check the expiry date (Best Before or Use By) printed on the product packaging. In accordance with EU food labelling law (EU 1169/2011), the expiry date is clearly stated on the label. If the sauce has thickened unusually or changed colour after use, discontinue use.
