Haechandle Sun-Dried Gochujang contains 5.9g of salt per 100g, which corresponds to approximately 98% of the EU adult Reference Intake (RI) for salt — a notably high figure. It is therefore recommended to use it in small amounts, and to be mindful of total salt intake when combining it with other salty condiments such as soy sauce or table salt. As a general guide, 1–2 tablespoons (approximately 15–30g) per serving is appropriate for stir-fry dishes. Storage: Before opening, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate; quality can be maintained for several months when refrigerated. Covering the surface with cling film to prevent air contact will extend shelf life further.
