Allgroo Sushi Mayo is a sushi-dedicated mayonnaise sauce made by the Korean brand Allgroo. Unlike standard mayonnaise, it is crafted with brandy vinegar, mustard seeds, mustard oil, and natural colours including carotene, paprika extract, and curcumin — giving it a smooth, rich umami flavour and a subtle golden hue. It has a lighter texture than European mayonnaise and is ideal as a topping or dipping sauce for sushi, Gimbap, sandwiches, and a wide variety of dishes. It comes in a convenient 500g squeeze bottle.
Allgroo Sushi Mayo is suitable for vegetarians. However, it contains egg yolk and egg white, so it is not a vegan product. It does not contain any dairy ingredients. Lacto-ovo vegetarians who consume eggs can use this product with confidence.
The ingredient list of Allgroo Sushi Mayo does not include any gluten-containing ingredients, making it suitable for a gluten-free diet. However, this product has not obtained an official certified gluten-free label, so those with severe coeliac disease should take note.
